Priority Care Ambulance™ is an Ambulance and Medical Transport service that takes pride in “Treating patients like family.” Priority Care Ambulance™ was founded by individuals who have many years combined experience as Emergency Medical Technician’s that wanted to help and make a difference in the community. They founded Priority Care Ambulance™ based on providing compassionate and high quality patient care which would ensure outstanding service to the community and it's citizens.

William Masone
Founder / President / CEO / EMT

William has over 13 years experience in the Emergency Medical Services field. He started his career as a volunteer firefighter in 2006 with the Inwood Fire Department. While there he trained to become an Emergency Medical Technician. After becoming an EMT he started volunteering his time on the ambulance. In 2011, William started working with a private ambulance company providing emergency and non-emergency patient care. In subsequent years he worked with other private ambulance services providing patient care. William is a certified EMT with the State of North Carolina. William also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration.

Dr. Jim Liang
Medical Director

Dr. Jim Liang graduated from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. Dr. Liang completed emergency medicine residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego in 2013 and is board certified emergency physician by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Liang served over 20 years in the United States Navy. He served in the Persian Gulf, Okinawa Japan, Rota Spain, Iraq and Afghanistan. He currently works with Duke University Urgent Care, where he provides medical care for a variety of illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages. Dr. Liang serves Priority Care Ambulance in an oversight capacity to assure high quality of care for the services provided. Dr. Liang also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Erika Bell
Supervisor / Dispatcher / EMT

Erika has been an NREMT and NC-EMT for 3 years and enjoys being in the medical field. She plans on going to grad school to become a physician assistant. She holds two Bachelor's of Arts degrees, one in Exercise and Sport Science and one in Psychology, both obtained at UNC Chapel Hill. In her free time, Erika enjoys reading, watching movies, and cheering on the UNC Tar Heels.

Steven Matroo
Third shift Supervisor / Dispatcher / EMT

Steven has been with the agency for over a year, and has fallen in love with the atmosphere and community. He was born and raised in Garner, North Carolina. This area of the state has also been what he calls home. He is glad to have the opportunity to give back to his community. Steven is also a certified open water scuba diver. In his free time, Steven likes hiking, watching movies, and scuba diving.

Emily Bryan
Supervisor / Dispatcher / EMT

Emily is a Supervisor/Dispatcher at Priority Care Ambulance. She has been an EMT for over 2 years. She is currently enrolled in Wake Tech working towards her Paramedic certification. In her free time, Emily likes sewing, drawing, and playing with Ruby.

Ruby
Morale Officer

Rubie is a Pitbull mix who loves running up and down the hallway showing off her toys. She enjoys greeting the employees and going for long walks. In her free time, Rubie enjoys playing with her toys.
